BKA Class Attire and Show Costume

Below are listed the basic attire for all BKA classes and shows. Please read this carefully so that your student will be properly prepared.

Modesty Requirement:

We want all our students to feel safe and comfortable at BKA. For this reason all costumes and class attire must be modest and non-revealing. Shoulders should be covered with a cap sleeve, No visible flesh in the torso area including cleavage, belly, and buttocks. Shorts should extend past the fingertips. Girls who wear skirts should have shorts on underneath.

Musical Theater Class Attire

Requirements: Black Jazz shoes and loose fitting clothing that they can move and dance in.

All class attire should fit the modesty requirement stated above.

Performance Company Class Attire

Requirements: Black Jazz shoes, Tan Character shoes and loose fitting clothing that they can move and dance in.

All class attire should fit the modesty requirement stated above.

BKA Show Costumes

Clothing required to wear under costumes will be posted one month before shows.
