All students need to be picked up promptly at 11:30am. On Friday students come at 8:30am and camp is over after the 9am show. Singing - Throughout camp we will work each day on songs that go with the theme of the camp. This always included songs for the whole class, sometimes this will also include solos or small group numbers. The teacher will send any solo or small group songs home. Please help your child practice these to be memorized by Thursday AM. Dancing - Please come prepared to move each day. There is a dress code at Broadway Kids; it is listed below and on our website. Shorts and a T-shirt is the perfect thing to wear and be comfortable singing & dancing. If you have dance shoes, bring them, if you don't have dance shoes bring sneakers or socks. NO SANDALS OR FLIP FLOPS PLEASE!! Acting - We will work each day on acting skills, stage directions, audition skills and getting into character. Our camp curriculum includes scenes from some of the best Disney and Broadway shows. Everyone will be assigned a part in one of the scenes, students should come home Tuesday knowing what scene they are in. They will need to memorize their lines for their scene by Thursday AM. Snacks: Each camper should bring their own snacks and water only to drink! For the safety of all students, we will not allow any sharing of food, please avoid sending nuts. Show What You Know!! As part of our camp, students will "show what they know" at the end of the week. The show will be at 9:00 am on Friday morning. Children will still come to camp at 8:30am on Friday, parents return at 9:00 am for the show. When the show is over, Campers will leave and go home with their parents.
